Welcome back to Bookmarked, the blog for authors and readers alike.
This week, I wanted to highlight an author who has been with Jan-Carol Publishing for a long time. She has a new book coming out that is a collection of short stories, called The Harboring & Other Stories, and it is just fantastic.
The Harboring & Other Stories is a collection that weaves together the resiliency of Appalachian
women—in fact, all women—as they meet their seemingly insurmountable challenges with
grace, celebrate their joys, and find ways to resolve all that remains unresolved in their lives.
Each story finds a connection with the others, until "The Harboring" brings it to an unexpected
crescendo.
This book is currently available to pre-order here, and it will be released soon. All of us at JCP are super excited for Kathleen!
