Revisiting Children's Book "Misty, The Lonely Mermaid" by JeanAnn Taylor

This week, in honor of summer, Draco and I will be performing a reading of Misty, The Lonely Mermaid on JCP's podcast, Bookmarked.

Misty has many sea-creature friends, but not one true mermaid friend. Follow her adventures as she learns how to make friends while staying true to herself. We are meant to have friends, and as long as we believe in ourselves, the right friend will come along.

JeanAnn Taylor will have another book coming out sometime this year, featuring another (very different) mermaid tale. As we continue to move the book through the publishing process, we will update everyone on its release date and provide more info about the story. But, as someone who has already gotten the opportunity to read the manuscript, I can assure you that JeanAnn will have another hit on her hands, this time with a very compelling chapter book about adolescence.
