Good morning, everyone!

I hope you're all enjoying these new May temperatures as we slowly approach summer.

Today, I wanted to highlight an extraordinary author who currently has three books published, all encompassing nonfiction and history in a way that feels accessible and fascinating. Author Carol Ann Patterson Boyles-Jernigan is a very talented author, and all of her books can be found at the links listed below.

Flying High in the Sky: Letters from a Pan Am Stewardess

In this book, the author shares her personal acquaintance with Marie McGrath.

Marie McGrath dreamed of being a stewardess, flying on Pan American World Airlines, and speaking her college French. When hired, she flew to London, Paris, Rome, Johannesburg, Singapore, and other faraway places. She loved the thrill of visiting many countries and meeting famous people. Flying High in the Sky reflects on her journey as she was living it, and on the crash that ended her life.

Marie McGrath was a stewardess and among the 44 victims in the 1957 Pan Am Flight 7 that crashed into the Pacific Ocean. Mystery still surrounds the crash to this day.

Around the Next Bend: An Adventure in Borneo

In this romantic book, a vivacious and adventurous Katherine Wingert Casidy, always known as Dottie, finds love in the jungles of Borneo as a Methodist missionary. As dean of a primary school, she teaches English and other subjects to Malayans and Chinese children, and conducts religious activities with headhunters and other members of the community in the tropical city of Sibu, Sarawak.

The Safety Deposit Box Shock: Your Secrets Will Find You Out

Based on the author's own father, a sophomore track star falling in love with the senior campus sweetheart rocks the University of Kansas with scandal.

Their love produced a little girl who thought her father was dead. The secret about her father lay deep at the bottom of a safety deposit box. This is a biographya true story of the life of Paul Bryan Patterson, PhD, and his legacy, written by his daughter. It explores his family's genealogy, his life at the University of Kansas, his married life, his secret, and the tragedies that colored his life.

Be sure to give all of Carol's books some love, as she is a very talented author who does extensive research for her books and always puts her whole heart into the writing process.
