I hope everyone has had a wonderful week and is revving up for a fun and fulfilling weekend. I also hope everyone is staying safe with the crazy weather that's been happening!
Today, I wanted to remind everyone that January is INTERNATIONAL CREATIVITY MONTH!
For those of you who aren't familiar with it, International Creativity Month is about celebrating visionaries as well as inspiring yourself and seeing what you can produce to celebrate your own creativity and innovation.
Creativity can apply to many areas of life: art, technology, cooking, writing, building... The categories are endless! You can be creative no matter where you are or what your hobbies are.
Here at Jan-Carol Publishing, we celebrate creativity all the time! Every time one of our authors sends us a new manuscript to read, we are astounded by the creativity. A good novel relies on creativity, and our authors certainly demonstrate they are capable of some impressive innovation.
I'd love to encourage each and every one of you to do something creative this month, whether that be writing a short story, painting a self-portrait, or even simply finding a new way to accomplish everyday tasks.
You may be thinking to yourself, "But I'm not very creative!"
What I would say to that is, everyone is creative! Whether you realize it or not, everyone is capable of being creative.
