Interview with Author Patrice Wilkerson!

Hi, everyone! Welcome back to Bookmarked, the blog for readers and authors alike.

This week on our podcast, we have a special interview to share with you. In honor of springtime, we will be interviewing author Patrice Wilkerson.

Patrice's children's book My Favorite Season is Spring is available to order from Jan-Carol Publishing's website, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble, and it is a beautifully illustrated picture book that every child will love.

Through rhythm and rhyme, take a fun and exciting journey with little Susie as she describes her favorite season. She finds so many fun things to do. She loves the outdoors, and you will too! This book is a great, engaging teaching tool for young children.

The author, Patrice, is an MBA graduate who loves writing poetry. She has been writing poetry since she was eight years old and loves to inspire others through words. She's written a collection of poetry in addition to this book, entitled Through It All, I'm Going to Make It, which she published in 2010.

This book is described as a collection of poems to challenge the stoutest heart and warm the kindest soul.

One reviewer of Patrice's poetry collection said, "Although each poem is different, the author's voice is loud and clear. The musical tone comes out with the rhyme, and the deepness of the words shows the feelings of the author's heart. I felt each poem and listened to the words almost like listening to a song.
