Good morning, everyone, and welcome back to Bookmarked.
Today, I have a special interview to share with you all, with one of the authors of the new children's book, The Tooth Fairy Has a Problem.

In this delightful story that stimulates creative thinking and helps develop problem-solving skills, the Tooth Fairy has run out of money and can't figure out what to do with all the teeth she has collected. What can she do?
This book has beautiful, colorful illustrations that both children and adults will enjoy. To check out this story for yourself, you can purchase The Tooth Fairy Has a Problem here.
Now, please enjoy the following Q&A with Neil Wollman, one of the book's authors. To hear more from Neil, please tune in to our podcast episode this Friday, as Draco will be chatting with Neil about his book and giving further insight into the story.
BOOKMARKED: Tell me about your book, The Tooth Fairy Has a Problem. What inspired you to want to tell this story?
NEIL WOLLMAN: Actually, my co-authors had the original idea. Then we went back and forth in modifying it.
How would you describe the book in three words?
How about five? Tooth Fairy figures it out.
How important do you think illustrations are in a children’s story? What can you tell us about your book’s illustrations?
Of course, it depends on the number of words and the audience. The older kids are and the more words of description, the less important the illustrations become. Illustrations make the book. Luckily with our book, the in-house illustrator and design person did a fantastic job. The look on the Tooth Fairy’s face really show what she is feeling at the moment. Reviewers always comment on the beautiful and colorful pictures.
Do you have plans to write another book?
Yes, we are finishing another one with Jan-Carol Publishing now. It is called Farts to the Rescue. High-level stuff! Actually, it is not just another attempt at being gross, but actually putting farts in a good light, in a fantasy way, like farts propelling a girl so she goes faster on a bike. Or a hybrid car that runs on both gasoline and fart gas. Or a fart home-protection system!
What advice would you give to aspiring authors?
All I can say is, don’t give up after your first few rejections. Keep trying.
Is there anything you’d like to say to the supporters in your life?
Only, thank you.
