Interview with Author Donna Snow King!

Good afternoon, everyone!

Today, I have a very special Q&A to share with you. Today's interview features the very talented Donna Snow King, author of the heartwarming book, Snow Much Love: A Collection of Family Stories.

Snow Much Love takes readers on a journey along all the roads Donna has traveled throughout her life that have formed the person she is today.

Each road has a side trail that led Donna to many great adventures, resulting in life-changing experiences. Growing up a house mover’s daughter had its challenges. The hardest one to overcome was being a female in a male-dominated industry. Donna’s father always said she could do anything she put her mind to, and she believed him. She wears her badge of being a third-generation house mover with great pride.

Some of Donna’s other adventures included in the book are team roping, amateur radio, being featured on the popular TV show "Texas Flip N Move," and making her way to writing this book. Donna invites you to go along for the ride.

You can purchase Snow Much Love: A Collection of Family Stories online here.

Now, please enjoy the following Q&A with Donna, and tune in to this Friday's podcast for an in-depth chat with Donna about her many adventures and life experiences.

BOOKMARKED: What initially inspired you to write Snow Much Love?

DONNA SNOW KING: Well, it all started because family and friends encouraged me to share my many stories.

What do you hope people take away from reading about your countless adventures?

I hope people can find humor in my stories and that my book will encourage them to remember their memories as well as make a few new ones!

If you could sum up your book in 3 words, what would they be?

Love always wins.

What advice would you give to someone else wanting to write a book about their own life experiences?

Every journey begins with the first step. And I would tell anyone thinking about writing a book to sit down at a table with pen and paper, or at a computer, and calm yourself. No matter how silly it may sound, just start writing down what comes to mind. You can always go back and "flesh it out" later.

Is there anything you'd like to say to your many supporters and fans?

To my supporters and fans, thank you for allowing me to share stories of my life with you. Thank you for all your kind words. I am currently working on another book, and all I have to say is buckle up, buttercup. It’s going to be an awesome ride!
