Happy New Year from JCP!

Good afternoon, everyone!



I cannot believe 2023 is almost over. It's been a year full of highs and lows, but most importantly, it's been a year full of love. From all of us at JCP, we hope 2024 brings wonderful things to you and your family!


Today, in honor of New Year's resolutions, I wanted to recommend a few of JCP's self-help books that will hopefully connect with and inspire you in 2024. You can find and purchase all of these books directly through our website here.


First up, we have Woman to Woman: If You Own It, Claim It! Success! by Janie Jessee.


This inspirational guide was written to encourage and inspire women to seek out their destiny.


The author shares simple truths in starting a business or pursuing a career dream. Presented in uncomplicated terms, quotes, and verses that will enlighten you, encourage you, and inspire you, this book is the perfect read for the beginning entrepreneur or the seasoned businesswoman needing to be uplifted in simple terms.









Next, we have Power of Understanding: How Personality Influences Our Lives by Rick Toomey.


In this fascinating book, you will see how emotional intelligence influences a person's ability to build strong relationships and achieve their goals.


People can enhance emotional intelligence by learning to better understand themselves and others. This book demonstrates how powerful the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is in helping us better understand how personality influences our behavior and the results we produce.









Another New Year's recommendation I have is Cooling Stress Tips by Judi Light Hopson.


This self-help guide to reducing stress covers 12 major areas of life. Easy-to-implement strategies help the reader take charge of time, money, relationships, self-care, and more.


This commonsense guide to lifestyle changes is enhanced by scenarios of how others cooled their stress with simple, positive steps. Studies have shown stress is rising annually in the U.S. for most individuals.


The author's goal is to help readers reduce their personal stress levels by at least 50%.









Finally, we have Journey to Your Self: How to Heal from Trauma by Sandra Cooze.


This book begins with the author's own experience of intense trauma involving child molestation, sexual assault, and bullying. It follows the moment she hit rock bottom, and from there, how she was able to successfully heal her trauma and transform her life.


Sandra Cooze explores the mysteries of trauma and the effects it can have on your body, mind, and spirit. She points out key factors in trauma and trigger release, the importance of self-reflection, and the self-healing abilities of your body. While unraveling the concept of trauma, she lists helpful tools, leaves room for notes, and encourages you to work through the unique exercises she lists to support you on your healing journey.
