Celebrating Wayne A. Major and the "Piddle Diddle" Children's Series

Good morning, everyone, and welcome back to Bookmarked!

Today is a special blog post, because we wanted to highlight the works of authors Wayne A. Major and Ralphine Major. These co-authors wrote the sweet and charming series, Adventures of Piddle Diddle, the Widdle Penguin.

There are several books in this series featuring protagonist Piddle Diddle, and each are beautifully illustrated by Teresa Wilkerson and teach children a life lesson.

Wayne sadly passed away last year, and all of us at Jan-Carol Publishing were heartbroken to hear about it. The Piddle Diddle books are very near and dear to our hearts, and we appreciate all the smiles and laughs the books filled us with over the years.

The first book in the series is titled Piddle Diddle's Lost Hat and can be found here.

Other books in the series include Piddle Diddle, the Widdle Penguin, Goes to Hawaii; Piddle Diddle, the Widdle Penguin, and the Texas Longhorns; and Piddle Diddle, the Widdle Penguin, and the Birthday Drone.

Most recently, in 2022, Wayne and Ralphine published Piddle Diddle, the Widdle Penguin, and the Synchronous Fireflies of the Great Smoky Mountains.
