Today is January 1, 2025, signifying the start of a brand new year. 2024 seemed to fly by, and now we have officially entered into a new year. I can hardly believe it!
In 2025, Jan-Carol Publishing will be going through some changes as we constantly try to evolve and make our company the best it can be. These changes will be exciting, and you'll be able to hear about them very soon.
In fact, this Friday on our podcast, Bookmarked, Janie Jessee will be talking all about the new year and what you can expect from JCP, as well as recapping some of JCP's greatest accomplishments from 2024 — because we had many!
For one thing, our podcast grew exponentially in 2024, and we are very proud of that. If you're interested in some stats from last year, see below.
-Bookmarked grew 251% in 2024.
-We uploaded a total of 51 episodes, and 30 of those were interviews with authors or guests.
-The most popular city for downloads was Helsinki, Finland. There were 98 downloads from Helsinki. Other most popular cities were Johnson City, Tennessee; Augusta, Georgia; Nashville, Tennessee; and Redwood Falls, Minnesota.
-We received downloads from 16 countries this year. The U.S. was the most popular country, followed by Finland and Canada. We appreciate you guys!
-In 2024, Bookmarked reached 1.21K downloads total.
Again, JCP is very proud of these stats, because it has been a long-time dream for the company to start a podcast. And in 2025, we have lots of fun surprises in store, so stay tuned!
