JCP's Upcoming Book, "Voice: 20 Business Women in the Appalachian Region Share their Stories of their Personal Journey to Success"

Good afternoon, everyone!

Welcome to another installment of Bookmarked. Today, I wanted to inform everyone of a very exciting new project Jan-Carol Publishing is taking on. We are now accepting submissions for a book containing 20 different stories from women in the Appalachian region who want to share their journey to success.

The aim of this book is to draw attention to and uplift women in this area who are deserving of praise and can inspire others with their stories.

Do you have a story to share or know someone who might? Are you proud of your roots and your accomplishments? With this new book, "Voice: 20 Business Women in the Appalachian Region Share their Stories of their Personal Journey to Success," you'll have the chance to be heard.

In celebration of 20 years of being the “voice” for women in the Appalachian Region, Voice Magazine for Women and Jan-Carol Publishing are teaming up for this one-of-a-kind project. We are inviting 20 business and/or career women to share their inspirational stories of struggles, challenges, and successes. These stories will be part of the big picture of inspiring other women to pursue their dreams, ignore the naysayers, and achieve the success that they deserve.

JCP is now accepting submissions for this debut elite book of accomplished women to share their stories. The book will be sold on Amazon and other retail outlets in print and as an e-book.

For those interested, here are the submission guidelines:

We have limited space for submissions. To qualify, you must be a business owner or career woman. Please submit a manuscript of your personal and inspirational storyline. Manuscripts should be no more than 2500 words, and editing will be provided by JCP.

Early submissions must be sent in by June 30, 2024, and upon acceptance will be charged $650.00.

Submissions will remain open until July 31, 2024. All submissions sent after June 30 will be charged $1,200.00 upon acceptance.

Accepted individuals will be required to sign a release for their submission to be commercially produced, printed, and distributed. Participating women will receive three FREE hardback copies, and additional books may be purchased at wholesale pricing. No monetary compensation will be provided.

We are also implementing a special offer if you refer a friend!

If you are submitting, you have the option to refer a friend to participate as well. If both submissions are accepted, you and your referral will get 50% off! For any questions, please email communications@jancarolpublishing.com.

Your submissions can be sent to submissions@jancarolpublishing.com.

This book will be a very exciting opportunity for local women, and everyone at JCP is looking forward to reading the submissions and getting to hear different stories from a variety of incredible individuals.

To everyone reading this week's blog, thank you for taking time out of your busy day to do so! We are all so appreciative of the love and support JCP has received concerning our blog and partnering podcast.

Speaking of our podcast, also called Bookmarked, tune in this Friday for a special episode from Janie Jessee, who will be going into detail about JCP's upcoming book about women in the Appalachian region. You won't want to miss it!
