Good afternoon, everyone!
As some of you probably already know, today is the first official day of FALL! I am beyond excited to celebrate this season, and I'm excited to share a few of the upcoming events Books & Gifts has planned for October. Something tells me you won't want to miss it!
So, without further ado, I am so pleased to announce that Books & Gifts will be hosting a Halloween-themed event on Saturday, Oct. 29th from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
This event will offer a Halloween-themed CHILDREN'S BOOK READING, FREE CANDY, FREE SURPRISE GIFTS to the first 20 people who RSVP, and other GOODIES/GIVEAWAYS! Costumes are absolutely encouraged! I know I'll be dressing up.
We will likely add other aspects to the event as it gets closer, so make sure to check back with us periodically.
Since we occupy a smaller space at Books & Gifts, RSVPing is required to attend. We're accepting the first 40 people who sign up, so let us know if you're interested as soon as possible! This fun seasonal event is appropriate for all ages to enjoy, but it is best suited for children ages 5-8. Bring your children, grandchildren, or great grandchildren! ...Or, don't! You're never too old for Halloween candy.
Next, I want to announce that Books & Gifts will be hosting several BOOK SIGNINGS during the month of October. As of right now, we have book signings planned for every single weekend in October apart from the 29th, when our Halloween event will take place. So, you'll have plenty of opportunities to come to a book signing! There's no excuse not to!
I want to wrap things up with a quick poll. I plan to start including polls at the end of my posts each week as a way to encourage followers to use their voices. We appreciate each and every one of you, and we want you to feel included!
